Oh my gosh, this guy is such a sweetie! Pat and I got to spend a little time with Chewie this afternoon, as we took part in his transport to meet his foster family.
I know there are a lot of worthy causes to support, but I think participating in an event that helps save lives from cancer is about as worthy as it gets. That’s why Lena and I have decided to raise funds and walk in an American Cancer Society Bark For Life event this Saturday, May 14th.
Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their own personal battle or through the battle of someone they love, and this disease has taken too much from too many. I’m participating in the Bark For Life event because I know It makes a difference in the fight to end cancer by raising funds and cancer awareness. The funds I raise help fund important cancer research, supports cancer patient programs and services, and goes toward other important activities that help save lives from cancer.
By walking in a Bark For Life event I join more than four million global volunteers who are dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer. This is my opportunity to honor the cancer survivors in my life, remember friends and family I have lost, and to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission.
Lena and I decided to participate with very little time left to ask for donations, so if you are able, please make a donation in support of our efforts. Thank you!
Together, we WILL finish the fight!
